COVID-19 Protocol
Dear Customers,
As you know we are living in very difficult times with a global pandemic wreaking havoc on our economy, jobs, our own business, and worst of all countless lives that have been unnecessarily lost forever.
We have implemented the following policy in accordance with the WHO, CDC, and a mandate from the local mayor that all customers must wear a mask when they walk through the store to purchase ice cream. Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions for the following reasons.
- First and foremost, we want to protect the health of our employees and their families some of which have serious pre-existing conditions; were COVID-19 could have severe impact to their health and trigger a life-threatening condition
- Secondly, and equally important are our customers, some of which have serious pre-existing conditions themselves or their immediate family members. Therefore, we would like to do everything possible to protect their health and well-being.
- Lastly, as stated above, we know there are countries, e.g. Taiwan that successfully have beaten Covid-19 (less than 1000 cases in one year and only 6 fatalities), simply through wearing a face mask and handwashing dicipline.
COVID-19 is responsible for over 500,000 lives lost, 20 million jobs lost, and hundreds of thousands of businesses that went bankrupt which has ultimately weakened with wonderful nation. We ask all customers of Blue Cow, be a patriot, stand with your fellow citizen, protect their lives and help to beat COVID-19 to build a stronger America.
We respect your choices you make but we ask you to respect ours while on our business property and follow the guidelines from the local mayor, the CDC, and WHO. For customers who refuse or cannot wear a mask, we apologize in advance for the inconvenience you incur to protect our employees, our fellow citizens, and our great nation. We have two solutions for you to accommodate you:
- Please call to place your order and we deliver it to you as curb-side pick or you can consume your order on the patio outside of the store
- We monitor closely the rate by which our employee’s and our most at-risk customer are getting vaccinated. Based on the current vaccination rate we will welcome you back in our store by end of May without a mask, provided that the mayor and CDC has lifted the mask mandate, as we always follow strictly the local as well as the national health mandates/guidelines.
